Pediatrics Rotations in Maryland: Hands-On Clinical Experience for IMGs

Our Maryland pediatrics placement is a single, tightly focused rotation in Baltimore, and it is built around one idea: real hands-on volume, not passive observation. If you want to leave a pediatrics rotation having actually worked up patients yourself rather than watching from the corner of the room, this is the one to look at.

Quick Facts

  • Location: Outpatient clinic, Baltimore, MD
  • Mentor: Attending physician with 20-plus years of experience
  • Patient volume: 10 to 15 patients per day
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Max students: 1 per month
  • Price: $1,600

What "Hands-On" Actually Means Here

From day one, you get full EMR access, not a shadowing badge. Across a high patient volume of 10 to 15 kids a day, you will see well-child visits, sick-child visits, and pre-operative consults, giving you exposure to the full range of routine pediatric practice rather than a narrow slice of it. Case discussions built into the day cover differential diagnosis and developmental milestones in detail, so the volume comes with teaching attached, not just repetition.

The Lowest Price on Our Pediatrics Roster

At $1,600, this is the most affordable pediatrics placement we offer, and one of the most affordable rotations across our entire roster in any specialty. Combined with the high patient volume and full EMR access, it offers strong value if budget is a real constraint in your rotation planning. The required documentation is also simpler than most of our other placements: just an updated CV, with no separate immunization or transcript submission required.

Who This Rotation Is For

Because it is capped at 1 student per month, this rotation suits someone planning ahead rather than booking last-minute. It is a strong fit if you want to maximize raw patient contact hours on a limited budget, or if you are early in building your USCE and need broad, high-volume general pediatric exposure before narrowing into a subspecialty interest.

What's Included

  • A fully personalized letter of recommendation based on your performance
  • A $500 deposit applied toward your total balance, due before your start date
  • Required documents: your most updated CV
