Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones usmlewise.com uses, and how you can manage them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be used to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, or to help site owners understand how their site is used.

2. Cookies We Use

We keep cookie use to a minimum. Across the site, the cookies set on usmlewise.com come from Google Analytics, which we use to understand aggregate site traffic (for example, which pages are visited and how many people visit).

  • _ga, _ga_* — set by Google Analytics (GA4) to distinguish visitors and sessions. These are used in aggregate; we do not use them to identify you individually.

These cookies are set by Google, not by us directly. Google’s own use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

3. Advertising Cookies

Across our Site we use the Meta Pixel so that we can measure how our advertising performs and show relevant ads to people who have visited us. It records page views, and key actions such as starting an enrolment, booking a guidance call, or sending us a message.

  • _fbp — set by Meta (Facebook) to identify browsers for advertising measurement and retargeting.

This cookie is set by Meta, not by us directly. Meta’s own use of this data is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy. You can control how your data is used for ads in your Meta ad preferences.

4. Cookies We Don’t Use

Apart from the Meta Pixel described above, we do not use any other advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not set any first-party tracking cookies of our own. We may use basic browser session storage for site functionality (for example, remembering that you closed a banner during your visit) — this is not a cookie and is cleared when you close your browser.

5. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent Google Analytics from using your data across all websites that use it. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Site behave, though our core content will still work without them.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including if we add or remove a tracking tool. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
