Rotation overview
- At this rotation, you will see on average 3-5 patients a day. You will have an opportunity to interview patients and then participate in a detailed analysis/discussion of the components of the case as well as doctor-patient relationship issues as well as participate in observing small surgical procedures. Inpatient will be available through telemedicine. This program is for anyone who is curious to learn surgery, specifically cardiothoracic surgery and is willing to work hard. In this rotation, you will be able to learn to take a proper histories and physicals on patients under the supervision of your attending physician. Letter of recommendation with clinic letterhead available upon request.
