Outpatient experience
- Telemedicine exposure combined with in-person site visits.
- Scheduled 2–3 times per week, 6:30 am to ~12:00 pm.
- Hands-on practice writing notes, interpreting labs, and performing physical examinations.
- Students are expected to provide their own transport to on-site visits.
Inpatient experience
- Evaluate patients firsthand with EMR access.
- See 1–3 patients per day in 6-hour blocks.
- Flexible start times: 6:30 am, 1:00 pm, or 7:00 pm.
Didactics
- Online didactic sessions every Thursday 4:00–5:00 pm and Friday 12:00–5:00 pm.
- Designed to deepen understanding and enhance clinical reasoning.
Letter of recommendation
Hospital-based LoR on hospital letterhead based on your performance throughout the rotation.
