Gayathri Mohan

Gayathri Mohan is a medical intern and USMLE aspirant at Vels Medical College and Hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a non-US international medical graduate, she is focused on strengthening her clinical foundation and preparing for a career in academic and surgical medicine.

Her research interests include evidence synthesis, with exposure to AI-assisted systematic reviews and meta-analyses and to network meta-analysis. She is also involved in medical content creation and initiatives supporting aspiring international medical graduates.

Her broader interests span surgery, pharmacovigilance, medical robotics, and medical education, alongside mental health advocacy. Her long-term goal is a postdoctoral fellowship followed by surgical residency training in the United States.
