What you get

Everything from concept to submission.

Your mentor is with you at every stage, not just at the start. Each session builds toward a completed, publication-ready manuscript.

1:1 Mentor Sessions

Regular video calls with your assigned research mentor throughout the project timeline, from kickoff through submission.

Topic & Study Design

Your mentor helps you select a feasible, publishable topic aligned with your target specialty and timeline before you write a word.

IRB & Ethics Guidance

Ethics/IRB approval comes from your own institution, not from us; we can't issue it on your behalf. Your mentor helps you prepare the submission and, if formal IRB access isn't available, designs the project around it. Review wait times are outside our control and excluded from our quoted timeline.

Manuscript Development

Structured writing support from your first draft through to the final, publication-ready version. Feedback at every revision.

Journal Selection

Match your paper to the right audience. Your mentor guides journal targeting, scope analysis, and submission requirements.

Submission Support

Your mentor walks you through submission, reviewer response letters, and acceptance correspondence from start to finish.

What you'll produce

One of four study designs.

Your mentor helps you pick the design that fits your access to data, your timeline, and your specialty goals.

Case Report

Document and publish a compelling clinical case with full mentor support. Requires ethical approval and documented patient consent through your institution before submission.

Observational Study

Study a population or exposure as it naturally occurs, without intervening. A common entry point when you don't yet have access to a formal dataset.

Retrospective Study

Analyze existing records or past cases to identify patterns. A strong option if your institution has accessible historical data.

Prospective Study

Collect new data going forward under a defined protocol. Higher rigor, and typically a longer timeline than retrospective work.

Best for

For applicants who need one strong publication.

You don't need a 12-month program to get your first paper published. If you have a strong case or study idea and want expert guidance getting it to print, this program is built for you.

  1. 01 You have a case report idea or access to a small dataset
  2. 02 You need at least one publication before ERAS opens
  3. 03 You're targeting a mid-tier to competitive specialty
  4. 04 You want a mentor guiding the process, not just a template to follow
Program fee

One fee, from concept to submission.

Investment
$699

Covers 1:1 mentor sessions, topic and study design, ethics guidance, manuscript development, journal selection, and submission support for one project. Journal fees, if any, are separate. See our Refund & Guarantee Policy for how refunds are handled.

F.A.Q

Your questions, answered.

Timelines vary by project, but most case reports and original studies are submission-ready within 2–4 months of sustained effort — excluding IRB waiting time and data collection, which depend on your institution and study type. Your mentor will set a realistic milestone schedule in your first session, paced around your USMLE prep and rotations.
Most projects result in a case report or original study (observational, retrospective, or prospective depending on your access). Your mentor will help you choose the type that best fits your timeline, specialty goals, and the data available to you.
Every project is structured so you meet the ICMJE criteria for first authorship — meaning you do the substantive intellectual and writing work, guided by your mentor. You earn the credit by doing the work. We don't sell ghost-written papers or name-listing.
